What’s New in Dining

Welcome back to campus, Lynxes! The Bon Appétit team at Rhodes College has several exciting new things in store for you this semester.

Two new concepts at The Rat. Our new SimplyOasis station offers meals crafted with food allergic guests in mind! Menus are made without the top-9 allergens and gluten using simple ingredients. Even better, you have complete control over your meal, choosing from a curated selection of ingredients to customize your grain bowl. Love rice? Well, you will love it even more when you experience our new Rice Bar, an extension of the popular The Wok Way station. From edamame to togarashi, a selection of toppings allows you to season your bowl the way you like it.

New one-swipe policy at The Lair. Some days you want pizza AND a grain bowl. Now we’ve got you covered! With one meal swipe you can dine freestyle from any (or all!) of The Lair’s dining concepts. We hope this new freestyle dining approach will offer some flexibility to those of you who like to mix and match options. (We’re looking at you, Athletes!) Just remember, if you leave and come back again (even within the same hour), you’ll need to swipe again. So, plan ahead and enjoy everything that inspires your appetite! (Or you’re welcome to swipe again!)

Know the Code. The Rhodes Honor Code, that is. While sharing is caring (and we do believe that!), per the Rhodes College Honor Code, meal plans are just for you. So, please do not feed your friends.*

To go, or not to go…that is the question! If you’re choosing food to go, please do so. If you’re planning to dine in, please do so. But please do not do both during the same meal—it’s also part of the Honor Code!
